Van 20 juni t/m 30 juni ben ik diep in het water gedoken met Patricia Patinama. Of eigenlijk al langer.
We delen een verhaal over zoeken naar onze roots, gaan staan voor de wijsheid die we hebben. Ik heb haar leren kennen bij de KIVA documentaire screenings waar ik als spreker kwam en zij muziek kwam maken. Ze vertelde over haar band met water en ik over mijn water- letterlijk want het was in Alkmaar aan het Noord-Hollands kanaal waaraan ik jaren heb gewoond! Daar begon ons pad.
Vorig jaar hebben we samen de eerste watertempel gehoed.
Dit jaar:
20 juni hebben we een waterceremonie gedaan aan het Eemmeer.
Daarna volgde 11 dagen lang een waterblessing vanuit verschillende inheemse tradities.
En 30 juni heb ik onverwachts meegedaan aan de Closing en concert van Patricia Patricia.

Patricia Patinama: “Nicole is a ceremonial leader, writer, storyteller, prayer woman, honor guardian and ancestor worker. Nicole and I have done a lot of water work together.
I know Nicole as a water woman with a talent for telling stories. Someone who brings the ancient wisdom to the surface to help us remember who we originally are.
Of course, Water has everything to do with that. After all, the Dutch are water people. A good relationship was essential for survival in ancient times. Thank you Nicole, beautiful water guardian, that together we share this path of water and connecting with ancestral roots.
